The dark bottom tail of the pink ribbon on our survivor medal symbolizes the dark side of breast cancer, as we cross under the ribbon you see the pink become lighter in color and we can see the end of our treatments nearing.
When we turn the corner at the top of the pink ribbon the color turns even lighter as our days become brighter and we become a "survivor".
I am proud to have designed this survivor medal that shows the world "women can and do survive".
